The Kurdistan Future Movement (KFM) is a left-leaning nationalist political group established on January 20, 2020, primarily operating in Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhilat), which is part of Iranian Kurdistan. The organization is headquartered in Southern Kurdistan (Iraqi Kurdistan).
KFM maintains a military branch known as the Homeland Protection Force, along with a specialized unit called the National and Homeland Security Protection Command. These forces are tasked with safeguarding Kurdish interests until a formal Kurdish National Army can be formed under an autonomous government.
